Work
Throughout my career, I’ve mostly worked as a consultant, which means I was often 'loaned out' to other companies to fix bugs and implement new features. This can be quite challenging in the early years of one’s career, as you often find yourself in well-established environments that leave little room for introducing new ideas. On the other hand, these years as a consultant gave me the opportunity to get to know many organizations — large and diverse — and to learn different working methods and the processes behind major companies in the industry. A downside was not always being able to work with the latest technologies — in fact, the larger the projects were, the more outdated the tech stack tended to be. For this reason...

On one hand, I’ve learned to maintain a broad architectural vision and make thoughtful design decisions; on the other, to focus on details, solving specific bugs and refining individual features with care.
robertovigliani.comI believe that balancing these two approaches is essential to quickly adapt to new contexts and future projects. This flexibility allows me not only to contribute effectively within structured teams, but also to independently manage complex solutions while keeping a clear view of the overall objectives.
